Junior National Key- Expert on the Component 2 (Judiciary)

The Junior National Key- Expert will be recruited through a local contract for the duration of the project. The Junior National Key-Expert will work for the Component 2 (Judiciary). Therefore, the Component is primarily meant to support the continuity of the judicial reforms in Ukraine. Most of the required expertise is provided by a group of International Short-Term Experts assigned to the Component.

EU experts to train newly appointed Supreme Court judges

On May 13, 2019, the National School of Judges with the support of international donors, including the project Pravo-Justice and the Twinning project “Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Supreme Court in the field of human rights protection at the national level”, which are funded by the EU, launched a one-week orientation course for the newly appointed 75 Supreme Court judges.

EU project forms Justice Reform Councils in 6 regions of Ukraine

The EU Project “Pravo-Justice” has formed Regional Justice Reform Councils in Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa regions and Donbas, which contribute to policy-making in judicial reform at the local level.
